My role as a therapist is the latest incarnation on my journey. While raising my children, I taught childbirth education classes and supported laboring and breastfeeding mothers, worked in the medical and wellness fields, and was an elementary school teacher. During my years of teaching, I earned my master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling - the final leg of a personal life goal. After completing clinical experience and working for several years at a county-based agency, I opened my private practice so I could best support clients to reach their own goals. I am licensed in New Jersey and am a registered telehealth provider in Florida.  

I strive to create a warm and nurturing space for those coming to therapy to talk about life's challenges as well as their triumphs. Focusing on your strengths, we will address the events, feelings, and behaviors you want to explore to help create the life you imagine. We will consistently evaluate the work we are doing, making adjustments so that you confidently develop effective and practical coping strategies and skills.

As a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist, I offer a range of therapies tailored to support deep and lasting healing. I specialize in trauma-focused approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), which work to process and integrate traumatic memories, as well as traditional "talk therapy." In addition, I incorporate body-based therapies that honor the mind-body connection, allowing clients to access healing on a somatic level.
